Talk by Stephen Candy

Stephen Candy has been a gardener at Kingston Lacy for around four years. His talk will cover all aspects of the gardens, including the maintenance and care that goes into looking after a garden of this size throughout the seasons.

He will describe the distinct and varied areas within Kingston Lacy gardens and how they care for two National Collections as well as the Japanese garden, rose garden, formal beds, Victorian fernery and kitchen garden. Finally he will delve into the restoration and enhancement of the gardens since National Trust has been in charge.

 

Venue: St George’s Church Hall  (Parking is available at the rear of the Hall)

Time: 2.30 p.m.
