The agenda papers of the meeting, including the Minutes of last year’s AGM are enclosed with printed copies of the Newsletter.  We hope that as many members as possible will attend.

As usual we hope to complete the formal part of the AGM as quickly as possible so that we can give our attention to the speaker who is a volunteer from Montacute House who will talk on “The Making of an Elizabethan House & Garden”.  The talk will cover two main areas – firstly, the original Elizabethan lay-out of the garden and the way in which it has since been developed.  Secondly, there will be a focus on the architecture of the house and how it reflects a desire to express wealth.

No charge, but donations for tea and coffee will be welcomed
