After over twenty years devotion to detail, Sally Pinhey is now one of Britain’s foremost botanical illustrators. She has written a number of books, won a number of awards and her painting of Egdon Heath has been purchased by the House of Lords. Sally is a full member of the Association of Illustrators, a Fellow of the Chelsea Physic Garden Florilegium Society, founder and first Secretary of the South West Botanical Artists. A former tutor at the Eden Project, Sally now teaches at Kingston Maurward.
Somehow she manages to find time to paint her delightful cards and you will have the opportunity to purchase some if you wish. Recently Sally gave a talk at Weymouth Library on Wild Flowers in the Himalayas which was thoroughly enjoyed – I couldn’t get to it but I am determined not to miss this one!
